  • What mobilizations facilitate what motions, specifically for the hip and shoulder joints. There has been discrepancies among different sources. What does the FSBPT acknowledge as correct?

The most widely accepted Arthrokinematics (i.e. movement of joint surfaces) of both the shoulder and hip joints are as follows; For both joints, (Glenohumeral and hip) posterior glides increase flexion and internal rotation while anterior glides increases extension and external rotation. For the shoulder joint, inferior glides improve internal rotation, abduction and elevation.
