Knowledge Base Non-systems Research I have a hard time trying to pick out what is the independent variable and what is the dependent variable. I know the independent variable is the cause and the dependent variable is the effect, but I always seem to pick the wrong one when it is given in an example. Do you have a practice example? Can you explain percentiles and how to interpret that on the PEABODY outcome measure? For example, if a child scores in the 50th% what does that indicate? What is the difference between interval and ratio data? I know that ratio data has a true 0 point. Temperature is an interval data but doesn’t it also have a true 0 point? Can you explain what are multi-center and single-center Randomized Controlled Trials? It is so confusing.
